As we are fortunate to have our business in a beautiful part of the world, everyone at Stramongate Press is aware of the importance of being environmentally friendly. Staff are encouraged to walk or cycle to work, and our one delivery vehicle is a diesel and deliveries are carefully planned so as to minimise wasteful journeys.

All jobs are carefully planned, so that there is the minimum amount of wasted paper – recycled or paper from sustainable sources is used whenever possible. All off-cuts or waste paper is sent for recycling. Also, all of our aluminium printing plates are recycled. All empty ink tubs and used plate developing chemistry is treated as hazardous waste and collected by Registered waste collectors.

We endeavour to source low emission chemistry and citrus based cleaning materials, and all staff are aware of the importance of minimising waste production.
